Rigid polyurethane (PUR) is a porous material with a closed cellular structure. One of its main characteristics is its great power as a thermal insulator. It is a very light and easy to handle material. It can be worked with an infinite number of tools; it can be cut with cutters, knives, jigsaws and hot wire. It can also be sanded, milled and joined together with other materials with contact glue and special plugs.
